About Us

David and Ethan's friendship started in kindergarten, and since then, they have shared many experiences together and always had the goal of starting a business. Their first step into the digital media industry was creating a YouTube channel in second grade, where they produced various videos, ranging from cringe-worthy skits to gaming content. As they gained more experience and learned advanced editing techniques, their videos became increasingly impressive and compelling. Outside of their passion for video-making, David and Ethan also enjoy playing basketball and hanging out together. As they continue to explore their interests in video production, they also started gaining skills in photography, expanding their creative horizons. Now applying them towards making memorable content for families to cherish beginning their journey as the founders of Mitzvah Memories.

Ethan Hobbs, a Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy Junior, is a skilled videographer, editor, and photographer. Ethan is a Jewish community leader and networker, connecting people of all ages, affiliations, and backgrounds to Judaism through various organizations. He is a high school athlete, journalist, and actor. Overall, Ethan's wide range of work demonstrates the skilled services he can offer.

David is an active student at Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy, participating in a variety of activities, including basketball, soccer, and this year's school play. As a junior, set to graduate in 2026, David has always been interested in technology, earning a reputation as the go-to 'IT guy' for his family and friends. He is also skilled in 3D printing, drone piloting, and photo editing. Through his dedication to academics and technology, David has developed a passion for videography and photography, which he is eager to put to use.
